Committee of Serbian, Russian and Italian businessmen formed Print

24 February 2010.

Image The committee of Serbian, Russian and Italian businessmen has been formed in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, with the goal of making the companies from Serbia and Italy increase their exports to the Russian market, through joint investments. Among the EU countries Italy is the second most important Serbian foreign trade partner, while the agreement of free flow of merchandise with Russia opens the door to foreign investors for appearing at that big market, stated Serbian Minister of Trade and Services Slobodan Milosavljevic. He said that more than 200 Italian enterprises are doing business in Serbia. In 2009 some 70 million euro of the Italian capital was invested in Serbia, and the crown of that cooperation is the forming of a joint company with the giant of the automotive industry – FIAT, emphasized Milosavljevic.
