Djelic and Kouchner: Enough space for promotion of cooperation |

In talks with Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner said that Paris will support any further initiatives and activities of Belgrade on its course towards the EU and pointed out that there is a lot of room for improvement of bilateral cooperation. As communicated from Djelic’s cabinet, Kouchner praised the actions of Serbia in the process of drafting the EU's strategy for the Danube region and stressed that , although it is not a country of the Danube basin, France wants to be involved in this process as an observer. France will also support the initiative that the seat of the Secretariat of the future Transport Community of Southeastern Europe be in Belgrade, reads the communiqué.
