March 03, 2010 The Association of the Families of Kidnapped and Missing Persons in Kosovo-Metohija has accused French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner of having offended Serb victims in Kosmet and their families. In reply to a journalist’s question in Gracanica about the trade in organs of kidnapped Kosmet Serbs, he acted in a very cynical and unprofessional manner. It is odd that Kouchner, the then head of UNMIK, knows nothing of the statements of former Hague Prosecutor Carla del Ponte, published in her book LA CACCIA, that organs of kidnapped Serbs were taken out in the so-called yellow house in northern Albania, the Association emphasizes, adding that Kouchner, as a doctor and a humanist, has an obligation to help those who suffer regardless of their religion and nation, which he has not proved in practice. Kouchner replied yesterday, to a VOA journalist who asked him about the traffic in organs of kidnapped Serbs, that he should go and see a doctor and that those who claim that were idiots and killers. Press associations in Serbia as well protested against Kouchner’s statement yesterday.
