Security situation in Serbia stable Print

tadic-vojska-1.jpgThe security situation in Serbia is stable, it was assessed in a regular annual analysis of the operative and functional capacities of the Serbian Army for 2009, also attended by Serbian President Boris Tadic. As announced by the Defence Ministry, the event was also attended by Defence Minister Dragan Šutanovac, Serbian Army Chief of Staff general Miloje Miletić and the highest Ministry and army officials. The analysis included the security situation in Serbia and the region, the dynamics of the realization of the set tasks for 2009 and other issues influencing the maintenance and development of armed forces’ capacities. At the end of the analysis, conclusions were reached and tasks were set for the forthcoming period, which should contribute to the promotion of Serbian Army capacities, the announcement reads.
