Milan Stankovic representing Serbia in Eurovision Song Contest

With the song entitled "This is the Balkans", Milan Stankovic will represent Serbia in the 55th Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Norway in May, it was decided last night by the audience SMS voting in a direct program. Stankovic will perform the winning song, composed by Goran Bregovic with lyrics written by Marina Tucakovic, in the "Eurovision" first semi-final on May 25, when in the "Telenor Arena” in Bærum, Oslo, perform will also representatives of Finland, Russia, Slovakia, Bosnia, Moldova, Latvia, Estonia, Greece, Iceland, Malta, Portugal, Macedonia, Belarus, Belgium, Poland and Albania. In the show broadcasted by RTS, the three finalists, whom Bregovic along with the RTS team selected at the audition, presented Bregovic’s upbeat songs, with the inevitable sound of brass, for which this composer is well-known throughout the world. Emina Jahovic sang composition "You Are Spoiling the Game“, while Oliver Katic sang the song entitled „Hello, President“.
