Tadic: Serbia insists on respect for the principles of the UN Print

March 14, 2010

Image Serbian President Boris Tadic stated that Serbia will participate in the regional forum in Brdo kod Kranja, if representatives of Albanians from Kosovo and Metohija participate at this meeting in accordance with the principles of the UN and Resolution 1244. After talks with Hungarian President Laszlo Solyom in Novi Sad, Tadic said that the integrity of Serbia must not be brought into question at international forums either implicitly or explicitly. Serbia will not participate in any international forum where the UN principles are not respected, Tadic reiterated. According to him, Serbia wants presence of the Kosovo Albanians at international forums, but that participation must be organized in a way that does not question the territorial integrity of Serbia.
