Cvetkovic: Excellent political relations with Kuwait Print

 Serbia and Kuwait have excellent political relations, but economic cooperation between the two countries ought to be improved, Serbian PM Mirko Cvetković said after talks with the political and business leadership of Kuwait. He said he thanked his hosts for not recognizing independence of Kosovo, whereby they contributed to the defence of Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. He concluded that trade exchange with Kuwait should be increased and so should the interest of Kuwaiti investors to come to Serbia and it is also important that Serbian companies should offer its services to Kuwait. He met with his Kuwaiti counterpart, sheik Naser al-Sabah, the president of the Kuwaiti Assembly, Jassim al Karafi, the president of the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce, Ali Tinajan al Ganim and the secretary general of the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development, Abdul Vahab al Badaz.
