London : Dacic visiting the Olympic Village Print

Image Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic has today visited the Olympic village in London, where he attended the presentation of security measures to be taken during the Olympic Games in 2012. Representatives of the British Home Office and the agencies responsible for security during the Games, stressed during the presentation that the government in London prepares the strategy against terrorism, which will enable all security structures to be ready for a quick response. British officials informed Minister Dacic and other guests that the Olympic Games will be safe and that the amount of 600 million pounds was set aside for this purpose from the budget for the Olympic Games, which is nine billion pounds. The Serbian Deputy Prime Minister is on a several-day visit to Britain, during which he will discuss improvement of bilateral cooperation in the field of security with British officials.
