Buha: Karadzic had an agreement with Holbrook Print

24 July 2008. 14:00

The former republic of Srpska Foreign Minister and close associate of Radovan Karadzic Aleksa Buha has stated that there are two agreements with USA, to have Karadzic withdraw from the politics and be released from the Hague indictment in return. I attended that agreement with Richard Holbrook, which was achieved in June 1996. Holbrook confirmed himself by waving the paper with the text of Karadzic’s decision and signature, Buha told the VECERNJE NOVOSTI. According to him, there is also an agreement with USA that Karadzic will not be prosecuted by the Hague Tribunal, signed one year later in Banjaluka. Madeleine Albright told the then President Biljana Plavsic that Karadzic will not be arrested, under the condition of “disappearing”, not only form the public life, but also from the Republic of Srpska, underlined Buha, adding that Karadzic was holding onto that agreement.
