Remembrance of the victims of the NATO bombing of RTS Print

ImageTen years have elapsed today since the NATO bombing of the Radio Television Serbia building, when 16 employees were killed and another 16 were injured. NATO bombed the building, in downtwon Belgrade, on the night between 22 and 23 April 1999, at 02.06 a.m. It was for the first time in the history of war that a media house, previously proclaimed as a military target, was bombed. The victims’ families and their colleagues from Radio Television Serbia have held a service today, laying flowers and lighting candles, on the monument dedicated to the victims of the NATO bombing of Radio Television Serbia.
