The mass in the Church of St Apostles Peter and Paul and laying wreaths at the central monument in Kravice near Bratunac, the Republic of Srpska, marked the killing of 49 Serbs, executed on Christmas, January 7, 1993 by Muslim forces from Srebrenica, who at the time also wounded 86 persons. The attack against Kravice was continuation of the bloody campaign that 28th Muslim Division commenced in May 1992 under Oric’s command. Over the following two years, they killed more than 3.500 civilians and soldiers only because they were Serbs, stated President of the Veteran Organization of the RS Pantelija Curguz addressing the gathering at the monument in Kravice that is under construction in memory of 3.262 Serbs killed in the war in 1992 and 1993. Like in previous years, no international representatives attended the mass. Muslim forces from Srebrenica, under the command of Hague convict Naser Oric, attacked Kravice and neighboring villages from several directions on the dawn of Christmas Day and massacred all villagers who did not manage to escape.
