Multiethnic government to be formed in Presevo and Bujanovac Print

The Coordination Body of the Serbian Government for municipalities Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja announced that in the forthcoming period, it will pay attention to the activities in the formation of a multiethnic government in Presevo and Bujanovac. Attention will be focused on activities to include the Albanian community in the state institutions, as defined by the Agreement on the principles of reconstruction of the Coordination body, as well as at the completion of the Feasibility Study for the opening of higher education institutions in Bujanovac and Presevo with lectures in Serbian and Albanian. As underlined in the report for the period from March to October 2009, the Coordination Body recorded significant successes in regard to the priorities defined in the field of politics, economy, integration and international relations. It was stressed among other things, that the Coordination Body, independently and in cooperation with the ministries of the Government of Serbia, until October 2009, invested over 250 million dinars to improve infrastructure and strengthen economy of these municipalities. The aim of the Coordination Body is to further contribute to the sustainable development of municipalities Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja through partnership with ministries of Serbia, international organizations and representatives of the international community.
