Day of mourning in the Republic of Srpska Print

19 November 2009.

The highest officials of the Republic of Srpska, as well as the Serb representatives in the federal institutions of Bosnia-Herzegovina have attended the funeral of Serbian Patriarch Pavle in Belgrade. On the occasion of his death, the day of mourning has been declared today in the Republic of Srpska, so the flags have been dropped to half pole in all institutions. All the employers have been recommended to enable the paid leave of absence to those who wish to attend the funeral of the patriarch. Many electronic media, through the mediation of the Serbian national TV, have directly broadcasted the funeral ceremony, which was attended by a large number of citizens from the Republic of Srpska, who have come to Belgrade to pay the last respect to his holiness.
