Amfilohije: Patriarch Pavle turned into holy light |

19 November 2009.  Metropolitan of Montenegro and Littoral Amfilohije has stated that Patriarch Pavle ,the quiet and humble man, has transformed into holy light and became a beacon in the mountain. At the memorial service to Patriarch Pavle in Belgrade, Amfilohije underlined that he has become a measure and criterion for the events of his time. The Metropolitan of Montenegro and Littoral was Patriarch Pavle’s deputy, and now, as the oldest member of the Holy Synod, he is the keeper of the throne of the Serbian Orthodox Church, until the election of the new patriarch.
