26 November 2009.

ImageIn the talks with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Nasser Mohammad Al-Sabah last night in Belgrade, Serbian President Boris Tadic has expressed gratitude to that country for its steadfast support in the preservation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia. Tadic pointed to the necessity of improving the relations between the two countries, based on decades of friendship, solidarity and cooperation between their peoples. While expressing the gratitude over the decision of Kuwait to open an embassy in Belgrade, the Serbian President said it contributes to the renewal of the political dialog at the highest level and intensifying of the bilateral cooperation. Tadic has stated that it is very important that Serbia and Kuwait have signed agreements on cooperation in economy, culture and tourism. He stressed that there is great potential for the establishing of the military-economy cooperation, as well as for the return of Serbian construction companies that had earlier done successful business in Kuwait.
